How To Make Towel Animals

Towel Animals

Supplies:
Bath towel
Hand Towel
Washcloth
Rubberbands

Instructions:
Elephant:
1. With a hand towel, place a finger on the middle of one of the long sides of the towel.
2. Roll the top and bottom diagonally so the meet in the center.
3. Flip the towel upside down and pull the open flap down halfway. Ears should appear to form.

5. With a bath towel, fold the long sides down halfway (so they have about 6 inches of space between them).

Seahorse:
1. With a hand towel, place a finger on the middle of one of the long sides of the towel.

3. Repeat with another hand towel.
4. Place the large side of one towel in the opening of the other. Secure by wrapping and tucking in the back.
5. Roll the ends to resemble a tail and a head.
6. Stand your seahorse up and add googly eyes!
Baby Monkey:
1. With a hand towel, roll the long sides so the meet in the center.
2. Flip the roll upside down, and fold the roll in half so one side is longer than the other. Twist the top half upside down.
3. Place a rubber band around the fold at the top, and spread it out so it begins to look like a head. Wrap the sides of the head with rubber bands for some large ears.
4. Add googly eyes!
Turtle:
1. With a bath towel, roll the short sides so they meet in the middle.
2. Flip the roll upside down, and fold into thirds towards the center.
3. Flip upside down again and pull the rolls away from each other so the rest of the towel shows through in the center. This will be the shell.
4. With a hand towel, Roll the short sides together so the meet in the center. Fold so the four rolls come together.
5. Pull the center of each roll out a bit so you can grasp each one. Turn sideways and pull on two in each hand. The rolls will twist and flip outward resembling turtle feet.
6. Place the “shell” on these feet.
7. With a washcloth, fold diagonally, then bring the two points farthest away from each other together to form a square.
8. Roll two diagonal corners together to form a little turtle head.
9. Push the head into the shell.
10. Add googly eyes!
